Cotton Candy Kush – Strain Review

Cotton Candy Kush is a strain that I really was interested in when I saw it on the menu. I don’t know if this is actually called Cotton Candy Kush or that this particular coffeshop decided on their own to name it that because of the apparent cotton candy smell and taste.

Smell and Appearance: The smell of this very cool Cotton Candy Kush was a tasty, cotton candy like overtone with a kushy undertone. Very skunky and lemony when you broke it open. It was like the outside green and pinkish tinges were the cotton candy part, and then inside the kush surprise was waiting for you. Intense.

Taste: Very nice taste to this strain, and it tasted pretty much how the name of it suggests. There were the definite kush tastes on first hit,  a skunky and intense flavor. The aftertaste on your tongue did seem to have resembelance to cotton candy.

Buzz: The buzz on this was a typical A type Kush where you get pretty blasted. Obviously not for people who are not used to getting too high, though really no kush strains are meant for you.

I have reviewed so many different types of kush that it becomes a blur sometimes, and it takes something special for a certain strain to stand out over all of the others. Cotton candy Kush does stand out, and I’m not sure if it’s because of the buzz and overall experience, or the just plain out of right field name that is has.
